The Danish House in Palestine is both an association and an independent institution. The board of the Danish House in Palestine is responsible for both the association, which consists of supporters, and the independent institution, which is placed in Ramallah.

MA in International Development Studies and Management from Roskilde University (1993). She is the former director of the Danish House in Palestine. Started her career at UNDP in Jerusalem, followed by 17 years at the Danish Refugee Council, where she worked with refugees and internally displaced persons in the Caucasus, Africa, the Middle East and North Africa, with a particular focus on the war in Syria.

Art Historian. Gry has developed exhibitions in Copenhagen and has worked as assistant curator at Arken Museum for Modern Art. Most recently she has developed projects focusing on contemporary art of the Middle East in Copenhagen and Cairo, including the project Streets of Cairo.

She carries extensive experience in programme management in the fields of arts and culture, community development, emergency response and research.
Sara Al Naser

Danish-Palestinian actress and comedian living in Copenhagen, and she has also studied business communication. Sara became “world famous” in Denmark with her very funny Arab character “Latifah” in the Danish national satirical TV-series “Det Slører Stadig”.

Danish culture profile, for many years working both politically and as a leader within the fields of arts and culture in the Municipality of Copenhagen, and he also has a master in political science. Bjarne is now leader of Amagerbro Kultur, a cultural institution in the capital’s district of Amager.
